SEY STAGE THREE SPORTS DAY 

Gaynes School was proud to host Sports Day for our KS3 cohort — Years 7, 8 and 9. Students showed fantastic effort, resilience and teamwork throughout the day and were a credit to their tutor groups.

Students competed in 100m, 200m and 300m track events, plus boys’, girls’ and mixed relay races. This year, field events were also introduced with shot put and discus. It was fantastic to see them supporting each other and giving their all in every race and throw. Points were awarded for both participation and performance, and these will be added to each form’s total. The winning form class will be announced in the end-of-year Achievement Assemblies.

The Gaynes PE Department would like to say a huge thank you and well done to all students who took part, and to the staff whose support helped the day run smoothly.
