Year 9 Sustainability Careers Fair

On 7th May, a group of 60 Year 9 pupils attended the Sustainability and Climate Careers Fest at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The event provided pupils with the opportunity to meet exhibitors from across the green sector and explore the wide range of careers dedicated to sustainability and environmental protection.

Pupils engaged with a variety of interactive exhibits and workshops, including robots and virtual reality headsets. They gained valuable insight into the important role individuals and industries play in protecting the environment as well as the diverse career pathways available within the sector.

Representatives from Mace Group, the construction company responsible for building the stadium and other landmark projects such as The Shard, delivered an informative and engaging presentation on the stadium’s construction and the significance of careers within the construction industry.

Pupils also enjoyed the opportunity to have lunch in the stadium stands and take in the impressive surroundings of the Tottenham Hotspur ground.
