Local Mp Congratulates Gaynes On Sports Mark Gold Award

We are thrilled to announce that Gaynes School has once again been awarded the prestigious School Games Gold Mark for the 2024/25 academic year!

This national award, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, celebrates our school’s unwavering commitment to competitive sport, physical activity, and developing student leaders.This consistent success has not gone unnoticed. Our local MP for Hornchurch and Upminster, Julia Lopez, has highlighted our latest accolade, which further cements Gaynes as a leading light for PE and school sports within the borough. From participation levels to our thriving extracurricular clubs, the Gold Mark reflects the hard work of our dedicated PE department and, most importantly, the passion and sportsmanship of our students. We are proud to be a school where every student is encouraged to find their sporting spark and represent the Gaynes community with pride.
