Ann frank visit VE day
BackVICTORY IN EUROPE DAY 2025 – PROMOTING EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND TACKLING GENDER INEQUALITY WITH THE ANNE FRANK TRUST UK
On Thursday 8th May, we invited The Anne Frank Trust UK to share with us Anne Frank’s story, the Holocaust and to empower students of all year groups to challenge all forms of prejudice through an engaging assembly.
In addition to this, our Year 8 students took part in a workshop, where students explored the impacts of stereotypes, promoting equal opportunities for all and how issues of gender inequality can be tackled and resolved.
Linking with our PSCHE curriculum as an inclusive school, the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe marked the perfect occasion for such an enriching experience.
