Dear Parents and Carers,

As a result of the red weather warning issued by the Met Office for our area from Wednesday to Thursday this week, we have taken the decision to close the school at 1.20pm on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June. 

We will close at 1.20pm to give pupils the opportunity to purchase a cold school meal if they choose to do so.  All pupils in receipt of free school meals will be able to pick up a cold lunch at 1.10pm before leaving the school. 

There will be a limited provision for our most vulnerable pupils until 3.15pm.  If you wish your child to access this provision then please contact the school office to confirm.

As per our email earlier today pupils will be able to choose to wear PE kit for the remainder of the week and are reminded of the advice to being in a refillable water bottle and sunscreen all week.

We will continue to monitor the weather conditions closely and will communicate any further adjustments should they become necessary.
