Supporting Cancer Research, Fundraising Events

In the UK every year, there are more than four hundred and fifty deaths every day with thousands of people losing their life every month.
It is for this reason, on Wednesday 11th May at lunch, the KS3 school council are organising events to raise awareness of Cancer and prevention of research and raise money to support the charity Make 2nds Count.
- Football shootout in the sports hall with Mr Clark, Mrs Culling and our KS3 Sports leaders - £1 for three shots
- Bake sale with Miss Fallon – Baked in the English Extra-curricular club, costing £1 each
- Creation of personalised book mark with Mrs McDermott- £1 each
Our donations will support the charity Make 2nds Count’s in their cancer research studies, trials and support for patients suffering with breast cancer.
