Mental Health Week – Led by Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

This week we were proud to host our annual Mental Health Week, organised and delivered entirely by our fantastic Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. With a strong focus on this year’s theme of belonging, students created a range of engaging activities to encourage conversation, connection and positive wellbeing across the school.

Activity 1: Mental Health Myth Busters

Students took part in a fun, fact-finding competition designed to challenge common myths about mental health. Cryptic clues were hidden around the school, leading participants to different locations where they had to uncover myths and match them with the correct facts. The activity encouraged teamwork, curiosity and open discussion about mental health.

Activity 2: Whole-School Scavenger Hunt

Our school community came together for a wellbeing-themed scavenger hunt, promoting interaction between students and staff. Along the way, participants explored practical ideas and strategies for staying mentally healthy, helping to build stronger connections and a shared understanding of how we can support one another.

Activity 3: Anonymity Positivity

To spread kindness throughout the week, our ambassadors handed out positive affirmation cards across the school. Students could keep their message or pass it on to someone else — a “positivity boomerang” designed to brighten someone’s day and reinforce a culture of encouragement and belonging.

All activities were carefully organised and prepared by our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, who have done an amazing job leading this initiative. Their dedication, creativity and commitment to inclusion have helped create a supportive environment where every member of our school community feels valued and connected.
