Year 9 Titanic Immersive Experience Trip
BackOn 27th and 29th January two separate groups of Year 9 students took part in an exciting and memorable trip to the Titanic Immersive Experience at Dock X in Canada Water. The visit brought learning to life and gave students a powerful insight into one of history’s most famous events
Students travelled by train and underground, demonstrating excellent behaviour, maturity, and responsibility throughout the journey. Once at the exhibition, they were fully engaged with the interactive displays, detailed reconstructions, and immersive storytelling, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of life on board the Titanic and the events surrounding its voyage.
Many students commented on how realistic and engaging the experience was, particularly enjoying the visual effects and reading the personal stories of passengers and crew. The exhibition encouraged thoughtful discussion and curiosity, linking perfectly with their learning in school in History and English.
The trip was a great success, with students representing the school brilliantly at all times. Staff were extremely proud of the groups' positive attitude and enthusiasm, which made the day both enjoyable and rewarding for everyone involved.
