Student Council Visit to Little Gaynes Care Home

Ten members of our Student Council enjoyed a heart-warming and memorable visit to Little Gaynes Care Home this week. The students spent the afternoon engaging with residents through a variety of activities designed to bring joy, connection, and creativity.

Residents and students took part in lively quizzes and true-or-false games, which sparked plenty of friendly competition and laughter. Others enjoyed calmer activities such as origami and mindfulness colouring, offering moments of relaxation and shared concentration. Two students also provided nail painting sessions, which proved very popular and encouraged one-to-one conversations.

Throughout the visit, students made meaningful connections with the residents, sharing stories, listening attentively, and brightening the day with their kindness and enthusiasm.

We are incredibly proud of our Student Council for representing the school so positively and for helping to strengthen our links within the local community.
