YEAR 8 TRIP TO THE SCIENCE MUSEUM

All of year 8 experienced the scientific curios at the Science Museum, including the new exhibition featuring the capsule that delivered British astronaut Tim Peake from his space sojourn to the International Space Station. The students also explored the history of medicine - including a life-size mockup of a hundred-year-old chemist's shop, transportation throughout the ages, and the story of flight amongst other displays at the museum. Students completed a quiz on the scientific objects they saw in the museum, with the best responses in each form group receiving a small prize.
