Students take their exams at the end of Year 11.
All students participate in core (not GCSE) Physical Education and Personal, Citizenship, Social and Health Education.
New Technologies
The School is richly equipped with the latest ICT facilities, with several computer suites, interactive whiteboards, many other facilities to support independent and personalised learning. ICT and digital technologies are used across the curriculum.
Students also have access to Google classroom, which enables home access to learning materials for students and parents.
Religious Education
Religious Education (RE) encourages students to have confidence in their own beliefs and culture, as well as respecting the values and beliefs of others. A range of world religions are studied, as well as non-religious points of view. As well as studying the beliefs and practices of several religions, the RE curriculum explores a range of traditional and modern world issues, making reference to religious and secular points of view. Through RE students learn how to think through moral issues and learn empathy for others. Parents have the right to withdraw their children from RE Lessons.
Students are entered for GCSE in Religious Studies in year 11.
