The 16th January saw the Year 10 GCSE groups leave school to travel to Piccadilly in central London on the Underground to attend the Body Works Exhibition. This is an opportunity to see how the body works, witnessing real body parts. This included exhibits of people who have donated their bodies to science.
The group saw in real time how the heart pumped, how we breathe, and the muscles and bones up close. During the visit pupils completed tasks to ensure their knowledge was being tested and improved. This is all vital to their GCSE assessment next year.
The group did Gaynes proud and were exemplary for the whole trip.
